Thanksgiving 2007.

We had a good Thanksgiving day despite it not being my favorite holiday (for reasons many of you should know). I am trying hard though to make it a positive holiday for the kids. We had a good day. We had a very busy week as well and had a party or get-together to attend everyday from Thursday until Sunday.

A nice fall day at the park.

Last Monday was a beautiful day here in St. Louis. It was about 70 degrees and just so nice. I took advantage and took the kids to the park/playground along with my parents for 2 hours. We packed a picnic. Addison loves having a picnic and she thinks that you have to eat a sandwich when you have a picnic and she won't eat them any other time. We had a GREAT day.

A quick trip to Indianapolis!

On Saturday morning we drove a few hours to Indianapolis to meet Kris and Mike (coming from Ohio) with their baby Tyler. Also, Marina and Corey came from Chicago. It was pretty much a half way point for all of us. We all got a hotel room and just got to spend some quality time together. We walked around the mall, got dinner, had a few drinks, etc. It was a great time and we hope to make it a more regular thing to meet there.

Hopefully Lucas and Tyler will be great friends! They sure had fun meeting for the first time.

Lucas might be crawling soon.

Lucas has been getting on all 4's for a few days now. He loves that he learned to do this. We have a feeling he is going to be crawling soon. He will be 7 months old tomorrow (on Nov. 13th).

FYI: We have started to potty train Addison about a month ago. We aren't going at it with full force yet and are taking it kind of slow. She is getting interested and using the potty more and more. I can't believe she is getting so big and old!

I love that Lucas is getting older and that the kids are starting to play together. A few weeks ago we started to give them baths together and they love it. Lucas splashes the entire time and gets me all wet. It is great though.

Today I took the kids outside for a little bit and they played in the leaves. Here are a few pictures of them enjoying the fall weather.

Happy Halloween!

We had a great halloween. I can't believe it was Addison's 3rd halloween. She really enjoyed wearing her cat costume and going trick or treating and loved getting so much candy. Lucas had a good halloween and was a pumpkin (just like Addison was her first year). Here are some pictures below of our halloween night.

Bob and I are so thrilled....Addison can catch a ball and really well too. She was playing catch with Bob tonight and must have caught the ball atleast 10 times. I am not sure if this is normal for a kid that just turned 2, but we were pretty amazed. We are pretty sure that Addison is going to be a great athlete.

Lucas can wave.

I don't have any pictures of this yet, but Lucas can wave. He did it the first time on Sunday and waved to my Aunt Susie. It was great! As you can see from the pictures below, he loves to stick his tongue out. We also gave him puffs (kind of like cheerios) and he ate them up great. He is getting big and older so fast!
