All moved in.

We did it....we are all moved in. It was a crazy few days but well worth it to be in our amazing new house. It rained during part of our move but we got through it. We had a lot of help from our parents and some other family members and completed our move without movers (which is nuts considering how much stuff we have). We have done a ton of unpacking already and feel pretty settled in. We still have a ways to go and I need to start decorating and hanging pictures. We also need to paint our dining room. We met some neighbors and everyone seems nice and they all love it here which is great to hear. The kids are really loving the house. Addison can't stop talking about the "big new pretty house" and her new room. We love the house already and can't wait for all of our friends and family to see it.
Oh, and Addison picked a crazy time to start potty training. She started potty training on Saturday morning and did so well yesterday and today and had just one accident. She wears her "big girl underpants" and is so good about using the potty. I guess it is true.....it is best to wait until they are ready and she is now. I hope potty training stays this easy.
We have not taken a ton of pictures of the new house yet but here are 2 of the kids enjoying their new playroom.

Easter (a little late).

I know Easter was just a week ago but after a very busy week, I feel like I can't even remember it. I know we had a great day and the kids loved their Easter baskets. It amazes me that last Easter I was very pregnant with Lucas and he was born 5 days later. I can't believe he is going to be 1 in just 2 weeks.
Here are a few pictures from the day.

Practicing potty training.

Finally Addison is getting a little bit interested in potty training. We are not going full force yet through because I want to wait until after we move and are a little settled in the new house. There is too much packing to do right now to spend all that time in the bathroom. She is doing well at practicing and has been going about once a day on her potty. Today she even went twice within a few hours and stayed dry and loved wearing her big girl underpants. Hopefully this is a sign that potty training won't be so bad in a few weeks. Oh, and Addison is also very interested in playing hide-and-seek. She does not totally get it yet though because we will start to look for her and she will say "I'm here!"
Lucas is really on the move and has because a great little walker. He also loves to crawl up the stairs and can crawl down the one stair to our garage. We didn't even teach him and he learned to turn around and go down the step safely.
We had a successful garage sale this past week and are thrilled with what we sold (and what we don't have to move to the next house).
Here are some pictures from over the weekend.

Marina's baby shower!

Other than moving in 2 weeks, not much is new with us except that Lucas is WALKING. He took his first steps a little over a week ago and he is improving and walking more and more each day. It was great because he took his first steps when Bob and I were both home to see it.
Over the weekend I took a quick trip up to Chicago with my Mom (Bob stayed home with the kids) for Marina's baby shower. The shower went really well and I am pretty sure Marina liked all the work that we put into it and all the details and decorations. Marina is due in May and is having a boy. I am thrilled for her!

While I was in Chicago I got to spend some much needed time with my nephew Avery (he is about a year and a half). He is so darn cute and I had so much fun playing with him!

Crazy St. Louis weather.

This past weekend was so beautiful. We had some family over on Saturday and had a chance to enjoy the swingset for a change. Then on Sunday it was even nicer out and Bob and I took the kids to the park. We couldn't believe it, but it was atleast 70 degrees out. It was so much fun being at the park and we even had a picnic (nice and healthy McDonalds). It was a beautiful weekend but Bob and I did finally start to pack, but we sure have a long way to go!
I promise you...he did enjoy the swing but I guess he was in a melow mood.

He really liked crawling up this hill.

Playing together on the slide.

Then this was the weather the very next day....a little snow!!!
