FOR SALE.

Wish us luck. Our house is now officially on the market (the not-so-good market). We hope it sells soon and then we can move to a bigger house!
Here is a link to the listing:

Pam turns 30!

Happy 30th b-day Pam!!! This is the year that all my friends turn 30 and Pam was the first one (other than my sister-in-laws). Bob and I drove up to Chicago for a quick trip to celebrate with her. Bob's parents were nice enough to watch the kids for us.
We had a great time in Chicago with all my great friends from high school.

Lucas says Da da

Lucas is getting really good at saying his first word...da da. I know Bob loves it. He is getting so big and we can't believe he is going to be one in just a few months.
Here he is from this past week in his new booster chair. He loves sitting at the table with us.

Addison's trip to the hockey game.

Last weekend Bob and I took Addison to the hockey game for the first time this season. She had a pretty good time but was more interested in the food (like popcorn) than she was in the game. I know that Bob is so excited to share his interest in Hockey with the kids! GO BLUES!!!

Our baby is 9 months old!

Our baby is 9 months old. I can't believe it. I took Lucas for his dr. appointment today. He sure is a tall boy! He is 29 1/2 inches long which is the 90th percentile. He is 20 lbs 6 oz which is the 50th percentile. So, he has slowed down a lot with his weight (at 6 months he was in the 75th percentile for weight). Lucas is doing so well. He is sleeping well, napping well, clapping, giving 5, pulling himself up, walking while holding on, crawling like crazy, playing with tons of toys and eating well. I am trying to get him more interested in table foods. Soon enough he will realize that table food is so much better than jarred baby food.

He loves to play with water bottles.

I have to include some pictures of Addison from this past week.

Bob and I had a night out!

Bob and I actually had a night out (and it wasn't going to a hockey game). We celebrated Holly's 30th birthday party. It was a surprise party and a Hawaiian theme. Bob's family was all there and we just had a great time (without the kids).

Naked baby time!

We have started a pretty crazy tradition in our house called "naked baby time". I don't even remember when it started but it was a trick to get Addison's clothes off to get her changed for bed. It works and they love it. We give them about 10 minutes to run (or crawl) around in just their diapers. We give them a bath every other night and do this on the nights that we don't give them a bath.
Here are some pictures of "naked baby time". I know...it is crazy in our house sometimes.

Happy new year (a little late).

Happy new year everyone! Our new years eve was nice and low key. We just got together with some of Bob's family and were home by 10pm (all four of us were sick with colds). Bob and I did atleast stay up till midnight.
Not much is really new with us. Just trying to relax a little after the holidays and get back on a normal schedule at work.
Addison is really enjoying all her new toys from Christmas. She is always asking to play a game and says "what do you want to play now Mommy?" She can almost say her ABC's perfectly but keeps saying A, B, C, O, F, G (and gets the rest right). It is so cute. She is also learning how to count to 10 in spanish (thanks to Dora the Explorer).
Lucas now has 4 teeth and is getting better with eating some table foods. I let him try what I am eating all the time which is fun. He is crawling all over and is always standing. He is getting better at walking a little while holding onto the coffee table. He is also waving really well and just started clapping!
It is getting really fun to watch the kids play together. They really enjoy taking a bath together. Now that Lucas is a little older it is getting much easier to go places with them and run errands (like going to the grocery store).

Aren't they both getting so big....
