I am pretty sure this toy is not meant to actually ride in (considering it is recommended for ages 3+). Lucas got this tonka truck for his birthday from his Uncle Bill and Aunt Linda and he loves it. He got right in it and loves to be pushed or push it himself. Great gift Bill and Linda!
